On 31 August, Weiqiao Entrepreneurship Management Institute held the opening ceremony of 2024 Weiqiao Lightweight Advanced Training Course.

Zhang Bo, Chairman of the Board and the Director of the Institute, elaborated the development plan of the Group's aluminium industry sector to everyone in his speech, and requested everyone to be good at solidly implementing the knowledge and experience gained into practical work, ensuring the efficient application of end products to the new aluminium alloy devices, and endeavouring to cultivate and develop the new core competitiveness of the enterprise.

Zhang Hai, President of Weiqiao (Suzhou) Lightweight Research Institute, gave a lecture on "Current Situation and Development Trend of Aluminium Processing Industry" at the opening ceremony.

The training course participants come from a number of units in the Group's lightweight, new energy commercial vehicle and new energy passenger vehicle sectors, totalling 97 people. The training course will carry out research and study on eight courses, including the fundamentals of aluminium and aluminium alloys, semi-continuous casting of aluminium alloys, aluminium alloy extrusion technology, etc., in a period of four months.
