On the afternoon of 28th August, the signing ceremony for the strategic cooperation between Shandong Weiqiao Pioneering Group and ITOCHU Corporation was held at Hyatt Regency Qingdao. Song Yongxiang, Secretary of Binzhou Municipal Party Committee, Zhang Bo, Chairman of Weiqiao Pioneering Group, and Jun Inomata, Executive Director of ITOCHU Corporation and President of the Metals & Minerals Company, attended the signing ceremony and delivered speeches.

Song Yongxiang expressed welcome to Inomata in his speech and briefly introduced the Binzhou City. He wished both sides a successful cooperation and achieve mutual benefit and win-win situation.

Zhang Bo said in his speech that Weiqiao Pioneering Group will explore all-round cooperation with ITOCHU Corporation in the metal and other fields. It is expected that the two sides can find more points of interest in comprehensive cooperation and contribute to the long-term development of both companies.

Jun Inomata said that he was looking forward to the two sides’ future on the basis of the depth of cooperation in the textile field, in non-ferrous metals, automotive lightweight materials and technology development and other areas to expand the space for cooperation.
