On September 4th, Sun Yize, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, professor at Donghua University, and doctoral supervisor, visited Weiqiao Pioneering Group with Zhu Beina, supervisor of the China Cotton Textile Industry Association. Zhang Hongxia, the Party Secretary and General Manager of the group, held a discussion with Sun Yize and his team.

During the meeting, Zhang Hongxia welcomed Sun Yize and briefly introduced the group’s efforts to deeply integrate the textile sector with IoT technology, artificial intelligence, and big data. She expressed hope that this visit would strengthen communication and cooperation between both parties to jointly promote higher quality and more advanced development in the textile industry.

Sun Yize provided a brief analysis of the current state of the textile industry and shared his team’s recent research directions and plans. He praised the group's achievements in the digital and intelligent transformation of its textile division and expressed a desire for both parties to leverage their strengths, deepen project cooperation, and explore new models and paths for intelligent manufacturing in the textile industry. Before the meeting, Sun Yize and his team visited the Zhang Shiping Memorial Hall and toured the production workshop for on-site research.
