On August 10, the evaluation meeting of scientific and technological achievements of "Aluminium Electrolysis Integrated Copper-Carbon Composite Cathode (RuC) Technology Development and Application" was successfully held in the company.

Jia Mingxing, professor-level senior engineer, executive vice president of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association (CNMIA) and president of China Nonferrous Metals Society (CNMS), presided over the evaluation meeting.

Zhang Bo, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group, Yang Congsen, Executive Director and Deputy General Manager of the Group and General Manager of Shandong Hongtuo Industry Co., Ltd; Lv Dingxiong, Honorary President of Northeastern University Design Institute (Co., Ltd.), leaders of TOKAICOBEX GmbH, Sinochroma and other cooperative units and media reporters attended the evaluation meeting.

Zhang Bo expressed his sincere welcome to the members of the Expert Group and thanked them for their long-term concern and support for the scientific and technological progress of the Group's aluminium industry sector. He said that innovation is an inherent trait of Weiqiao. Innovation is always on the way, and the company will continue to explore new technologies and processes in aluminium electrolysis, fully use AI, digital and information technology to accelerate the creation of an aluminium electrolysis smart factory and lead the industry.

On behalf of the project completion unit, Yang Congsen delivered a speech of thanks to the expert group, expressing his gratitude to the experts and scholars for their new perspectives, new thinking and valuable suggestions, and hoping to continue to receive guidance and help from the expert group, so that the Group can achieve better development and better serve the industry and society.
