On April 11, Zhang Bo, president of Weiqiao Pioneering Group, visited Qingdao headquarters base of BAW. During the visit, Zhang Bo attended the grand flag-raising ceremony, visited the automobile museum, product exhibition hall, four major process workshops and engine factory of BAW, and met with the senior management team of BAW, and made in-depth exchanges on the future win-win development of both sides.

This was the first flag-raising ceremony after the two sides held hands, marking that BAW had officially become an important part of Weiqiao Pioneering Group, and would go down in the development history of both sides.

Zhang Bo said in his speech under the National flag that Weiqiao Pioneering Group would fully support the development of BAW in automobile lightweight, electrification, intelligentization, new products and industrial cooperation, and join hands with BAW to build an "open and win-win, collaborative development" new energy automobile industry ecological platform, to contribute to the construction of a strong province of Shandong automobile industry.

Zhang Bo said that after the realization of equity investment cooperation, the two sides would coordinate resources, make concerted effort, give full play to the existing production and manufacturing capacity, actively develop and introduce innovative models, and strive to use three to five years of time to achieve 500,000 units of production and manufacturing and integrated supply capacity, and gradually form a million units of the innovative automobile industry ecosystem, to drive the output value of more than 100 billion yuan.

        Lu Fujun said that after Weiqiao Pioneering Group held the BAW, BAW would embrace a new development pattern, enterprise development planning, product planning, talent planning all re - layout, the new BAW would be on the way forward cutting paths through mountains and building bridges across rivers, in order to make efforts for Qingdao and Shandong to create a hundred billion level of automobile industry cluster.
